Ears To You, a nonprofit based in Ohio, has announced its first annual charity event and fashion show, set for Nov. 10. Eight female cancer survivors from northeast Ohio will be honored at the Cleveland Botanical Gardens from noon to 3 p.m. The Lunch in the Garden will also feature a silent auction.

"We are thrilled to honor these eight women who are the face of female cancer survivors everywhere, fighting all types of cancer and surviving grueling treatment," Ruth Crane, founder and executive director of Ears To You, said in a statement. "These ladies represent the strength to move forward and live healthy, happy and full lives after treatment."

The honorees will model fashions provided by Green Roots Collection and be treated to professional hair and makeup styling by Salon Rootz.

The goal of the lunch is to showcase the full and healthy lives women can lead after a cancer diagnosis. The organization was founded by Crane, a breast cancer survivor, in 2008. The nickel and aluminum free earrings the organization donates, are distributed to cancer centers that treat women and girls battling all types of cancer.

The Lunch in the Garden party is a charity event and is open to the public. Tickets can be purchased online for $80.
