This Is How Young Adults Respond When Asked About Breast Cancer

This Australian campaign takes a new spin on breast cancer awareness by targeting the country's youth. The goal? To raise awareness about self-checks as well as early breast cancer detection.

Maralyn Young, founder of BreastAware Australia, reveals how shocked she was by the number of young people who don't think breast cancer will affect them, especially since breast cancer is one of the major causes of death among Australian women. Young's organization, which she started in 2013, promotes education about early breast cancer detection and prevention through workshops and events that aim to empower men and women.
