After losing one of her closest friends to cancer, Karissa Bodnar got to work without even batting an eyelash. Setting on a mission to empower women with cancer by making them feel beautiful, she founded Thrive Causemetics, a luxury line of makeup products designed to be toxin-free and safe for cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. The company's most notable product is a line of toxin-free faux lashes for women who have lost theirs as a result of chemo. All of Thrive's products are named after inspiring cancer patients, affectionately known as “Thrivers,” who Karissa says “do more than fight; they thrive.” But the company's beautiful mission doesn't stop there! For every product purchased, Thrive donates one to a woman undergoing cancer treatment.
