Chel Grapples With Information From Her Fertility Doctor. Are More Kids In Her Future?

Getting a cancer diagnosis is never something you plan for. And along with that diagnosis, there are countless decisions to make about your health — and often you have a very limited amount of time to weigh your options.

Chel has been documenting her journey since day 1, and now, on day 8, she has to make a decision about whether or not to harvest her eggs. She is 33 years old, with an adorable 1-year-old son named Knox David. She and her husband had always planned on expanding their family, but now they have to find out if that’s even possible.

In the following vlog, Chel talks about her walk with the fertility preservation doctor, and the news she received: because of her treatment plan, the earliest she can become pregnant again is in six years — after she turns 39.

She has a big decision ahead of her. Take a look.
