Sara Bartosiewicz-Hamilton was 29 when she found out she carried the BRCA2 gene mutationÂ â€” and what she did with that information shocked the people around her. To lower her risk of getting breast cancer and ovarian cancer, she underwent a preventative double mastectomy with reconstruction, as well as a complete hysterectomy/oophorectomy.
Then, years later, she made the decision to remove her implants and embrace her flat chestÂ â€” and in the process, co-founded the organization Flat & Fabulous.
