At only 24, Nalie was diagnosed with breast cancer. She did 16 rounds of chemo, had a double mastectomy, and had reconstruction. So, naturally, she decided it was the perfect time to do a photoshoot!

Every woman copes with a breast cancer diagnosis in her own way. Some women take up yoga or a new hobby; some ladies dive into nutrition research and eating clean; some women reach out to friends and family, or create new relationships.

For Nalie, it’s important to still feel confident and sexy in her body, regardless of the changes she’s going through. To help her grapple with her changed body and outlook, she decided to “redefine perfect” with this fabulous photoshoot!

Take a look at her video!

Nalie beat breast cancer and was cancer-free for a couple years — but in January of 2017, she discovered that the breast cancer had come back and metastasized to her lungs. Learn more about her new fight against cancer (and take some inspiration from her nothing-will-hold-me-back attitude!) by checking out our post here.
