The Susan G. Komen 3-Day is a 60-mile journey that spans three days and raises money for breast cancer. Each participant is required to raise at least $2,300 to be able to walk in the 3-Day — more money than any other breast cancer fundraiser requires of individual participants. According to www.the3day.org, this is because “breast cancer is a big problem, and we need a big solution – that starts with you!” Participants can dress up, walk or run, and have the option of camping out at the end of each day. The event will take place in several different cities in the coming months.

You’ll hear from several courageous survivors who participated in last year’s 3-Day. Every breast cancer survivor has his/her own story. We’d love to hear yours!
