“Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers. A peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked. If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers, where are the pickled peppers Peter Piper picked?”

Peter Piper is a tongue-twister we all likely recognize and grew up learning; laughing as we struggled to find our way word after word, and ending with our tongues almost literally tied in a knot.

It’s hard to say what exactly is so appealing about making linguistic fools of ourselves, but the existence of tongue-twisters on playgrounds today after so many years is a testament to the fact that there’s just something cool about them. Regardless, they are always fun. Many of the tongue-twisters in the following video are ones I had never heard before.

So whether you are an actor, singer, public speaker or just someone looking for a good laugh over well thought out word and sentence structure that is nearly impossible to say aloud, check out the below video from littlethings and prepare yourself for a good time!

Are there any you’ve never heard of? How many can’t you say? What are your favorite tongue twisters and why? Let us know in the comments!
