Here Are Some Reasons Why You Should Consider Journaling Your RecoveryElizabeth Nelson
Journaling during cancer is valuable for a number of reasons. It can help you remember things, work through emotional issues concerning your life with breast cancer, and more. Honestly, journaling is one of the most healing activities you can participate in, even though it’s sometimes hard to do.
Journaling forces you to open up and feel the emotions you may have been trying to stifle. But you’ll be so glad you did after you’re done going through this process!
In this short video, Sylvia Soo of CancerFabulous.com shares even more ways writing can be therapeutic in the breast cancer journey. Watch to find out how keeping a journal helped her stay centered after her invasive ductal carcinoma diagnosis.
“It’s me and it’s uncensored,” Soo writes. Now she enjoys looking back at her journal, remembering where she was then, and being totally in awe that it was her who wrote those things.
